Cristian Naldi is an italian guitarist, born in 1981, graduated from the Conservatory “Frescobaldi” in Ferrara in jazz guitar.
Cristian shares with Paolo Mongardi the impro-drone project FulKanelli, since March 2013 he is the live guitarist for Simona Gretchen during the tour of her latest album, Post-Krieg and since November 2013 guitarist for the band Ronin, lead by Bruno Dorella also of OvO. Since October 2014 he’s also a guitarist for the ensemble Byzantium Experimental Orchestra. He shares with Giovanni Lami the electroacoustic project Mise En Abyme.
In 2014 he went on the road with his solo project under his name. The first work, SPETTRO, was a synthesis of his interests: written music, improvisation and distortion. The second work, RURALE, released by Boring Machines, combines original compositions and arrangements of pieces from the classical repertoire by Gabriel Fauré, Dmitri Shostakovich, Arvo Part, Henryk Gorecki.
