Luciano Lamanna a 20-year long career as a DJ, electronic musician producer and event organizer in the electronic and techno scene. He started with hard-techno, then making beats for the hardcore hip hop scene in Rome, always maintaining a personal signature made of dark and edgy sounds.
He’s one of the members of the artist collective LSWHR in Rome and founder of ADSR SPQR, a tribute to ‘90s hardcore techno from the rave scene.
During the years he has also cultivated his passion for improvisation and analogue synthesisers focusing his work on the duo with Davide Ricci called Balance, devoted to improvisations on modular racks. With Luca T. Mai, the man who blows the infernal saxophone with Zu, he has released on Boring Machines the album DIVUS, full of nocturnal and atmospheric sound, sober synths swirl accompanied by long sustained notes from the saxophone. Music so smokey and dark, It could suit perfectly a b/w crime movie shot in one metropolitan suburb.
